Terms and conditions
General
A deposit of 50% of your total party fee is required to secure your event booking and acceptance of our terms and conditions. We do expect the customer to adhere to our play rules as outlined on the rules board. In the event of a cancellation by the customer, your deposit will be non-refundable. The booking date can be changed depending on availability up to 72 hours before your event.
In the event that The Buzz Party Co has to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposit and final payment will be reimbursed in full.
Our bookings are for 4 hours to allow 45 minutes/60 minutes either side of your event for set up and clear away time. Please make sure that you allow for this time when booking a venue. Please make sure there is enough room for set up as we are not responsible for moving furniture.
Outdoor & At Home Bookings
Party bookings can be made outdoors during the months April to September. If it is forecast to rain on the day of your booking, you must have an appropriate indoor/covered space to set up.
Our soft play equipment can become very hot when out in the sun. We recommend having it set up in a shaded area. Please supervise children and do not allow them to use the soft play if it becomes too hot.

Equipment Hire Terms & Conditions
By hiring equipment from Rebound Gymnastics Club and The Buzz Party Co., you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Hire Agreement
By hiring any of our equipment, including but not limited to our Mini Gym and Soft Play packages, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions in full. The person making the booking ("the Hirer") is responsible for ensuring that these conditions are observed by all guests and users of the equipment throughout the hire period.
2. Equipment Suitability & Use
Mini Gym Equipment
Our Mini Gym equipment is strictly for indoor use only and is not suitable for outdoor use under any circumstances. The equipment must be set up and used in a clean, dry indoor environment. Outdoor bookings will be declined or cancelled, and any breach of this condition will void all liability and insurance coverage.
Soft Play Equipment
Our Soft Play packages may be used indoors or outdoors, subject to suitable weather conditions and prior agreement. Outdoor setups must be placed on a clean, flat, dry surface and must not be exposed to rain, excessive moisture, mud, animal waste, or any conditions that may damage the equipment.
The Buzz Party Co. reserves the right to refuse or amend any outdoor setup where weather conditions or ground conditions are deemed unsuitable.
3. Space Requirements
To ensure a safe and high-quality setup, the space provided for the Mini Gym must meet the following minimum size requirements:
- Minimum area: approximately 5 metres x 7 metres (35m²)
- Ceiling height: ideally no lower than 2.4 metres
- Important: The larger the space, the better the setup. If the designated area is too small, we may need to omit or prioritise certain pieces of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Space requirements for Soft Play packages will vary depending on the package selected. The Hirer must ensure that sufficient space is available for the chosen package and any additional items booked.
It is the Hirer's responsibility to measure the available space accurately prior to booking. No refunds will be issued due to inadequate space on the day of hire.
4. Themes & Personalisation
Where a theme package or personalised vinyl wording has been booked, all details must be finalised and confirmed no later than 5 days prior to the event date. This allows sufficient time for the preparation and production of custom vinyls and themed elements.
Failure to provide theme or personalisation details within this timeframe may result in the equipment being supplied without the requested customisation, and no refund will be provided for unused theme or personalisation options.
Hirers must not apply their own stickers, vinyls, adhesive decorations, tape, or other forms of personalisation to any Soft Play, ball pits, ride-ons, or associated hire equipment. Any damage, residue, staining, or cleaning costs resulting from unauthorised decorations or personalisation will be charged to the Hirer.
5. Supervision & Safety
- Children must be supervised at all times by responsible adults aged 18 years or over.
- Rebound Gymnastics Club and The Buzz Party Co. do not provide supervision during the hire period unless specifically agreed in writing.
- The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the safe and appropriate use of all equipment throughout the hire period.
- Rough play, misuse, climbing on unsuitable equipment, or use contrary to any instructions provided is strictly prohibited.
6. Acknowledgement of Risk & Waiver of Liability
By hiring our equipment, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Participation in physical play and activity carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury.
- All equipment is used entirely at the user's own risk.
- Children must be appropriately supervised at all times.
Rebound Gymnastics Club and The Buzz Party Co. cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, or claim arising from misuse of the equipment, inadequate supervision, or failure to follow any safety instructions provided.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Hirer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rebound Gymnastics Club, The Buzz Party Co., their employees, contractors, and representatives against all claims, damages, losses, costs, or liabilities arising from the hire or use of the equipment.
7. Care of Equipment
- Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose.
- No food, drink, chewing gum, face paint, glitter, confetti, slime, pens, markers, or shoes are permitted on the equipment.
- All equipment must be returned in the same condition in which it was supplied.
- Any damage, staining, excessive cleaning requirements, loss, or theft caused through misuse, negligence, or failure to follow these terms will be charged to the Hirer.
- Equipment must not be moved, dismantled, altered, or modified without prior approval.
The Hirer remains responsible for all equipment from the time of setup until collection by Rebound Gymnastics Club or The Buzz Party Co.
8. Damage, Cleaning & Replacement Charges
All equipment is inspected, cleaned, and photographed before and after each hire.
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that all equipment is returned in the same condition in which it was supplied, allowing for reasonable wear and tear.
Additional charges may apply in the following circumstances:
- Damage to Soft Play equipment, Mini Gym equipment, mats, ride-ons, ball pits, fencing, signage, vinyls, or accessories.
- Tears, punctures, dents, scratches, burns, or permanent marks to equipment.
- Damage caused by pets, inappropriate use, negligence, or failure to follow these Terms and Conditions.
- Loss or theft of any equipment or components.
- Excessive cleaning requirements resulting from food, drink, mud, grass, animal waste, face paint, glitter, slime, confetti, bodily fluids, or other substances.
- Removal of unauthorised stickers, tape, adhesive products, decorations, or personalisation applied by the Hirer or guests.
Where equipment is damaged beyond reasonable repair, the Hirer may be charged the full replacement cost of the affected item(s).
Any damage or excessive cleaning charges will be invoiced following collection and inspection of the equipment. Payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date.
Rebound Gymnastics Club and The Buzz Party Co. reserve the right to recover any reasonable costs incurred in repairing, replacing, cleaning, or restoring equipment to its original condition.
Delivery and Set-up

Free Delivery: The Buzz Party Co offers free delivery within 8 miles of Plymouth.

Additional Mileage Charges: For locations beyond 8 miles, additional mileage charges will apply. Please use our Contact Us form to enquire about the specific rates for your location.

Set-Up: Our team will handle the set-up of all hired equipment to ensure everything is safely and correctly assembled.

Access Requirements: Please ensure there is suitable access to the set-up location. Inform us in advance of any potential obstacles or restrictions.

Timing: Delivery and set-up will be scheduled in advance and confirmed with you. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery location to facilitate the process.

Safety: Our team will provide a brief safety overview once the set-up is complete. It is your responsibility to ensure the equipment is used safely and as intended.

Photography
The Buzz Party Co may take photos of the event styling and setup for promotional purposes. These photos may be used on our website and social media pages Any photos of children in attendance will not be used without express permission from their parents or guardians.
